It appears that some Russian companies are currently experiencing difficulties in obtaining SSL Certificates from Certification Authorities. The Ministry of Communications has set up its own "trusted" certification centre to issue certificates, but these certificates are not considered secure by most browsers, except for Russian ones. It is important to note that there may be "unforeseen consequences" associated with using these certificates, as it is uncertain whether they are created according to international standards and there may be some concerns about the privacy of the private keys, given the possibility of access by the "authorities". ×
